Tasks
Your mission as Operations Associate:
As the Operations Associate, you will be the linchpin of our UK operations, responsible for driving partner acquisition by being hands on in the day to day recruitment yourself, managing the team, and ensuring exceptional service delivery from our partner network. Your goal will be to enhance KeyNest’s footprint across the UK by forging strategic partnerships and delivering unparalleled service to our different customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead Partner Recruitment: Develop and execute a strategic plan to recruit new business partners (e.g., local shops and businesses) in alignment with the growth targets set by top management,
- Manage and Inspire the Ops Team: Oversee a team of in office and remote expansion associates, providing them with clear direction, daily support, and motivation to achieve their ops targets,
- Directly Engage in Business Development: Actively participate in the outreach and negotiation process to secure new partnerships, contributing to the overall business objectives with local businesses but also nationwide brands partnerships,
- Ensure Service Quality Excellence: Oversee the training and resource allocation for partner businesses, ensuring they deliver high-quality services that meet KeyNest’s standards.
- Handle Complex Negotiations: Serve as the escalation point for existing partners who require higher-level discussions, navigating complex negotiations to maintain positive relationships.
- Be the B2B Point of Contact when they need to catch up about operations: Act as the primary liaison for B2B clients, coordinating their needs for opening new partner locations and ensuring a seamless experience.
- Strengthen National Partnerships: Sign new national partnerships and manage relationships with those networks, focusing on expanding our key exchange points across the country.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with customer support to address any operational anomalies, coordinating with your team or expansion & ops associates as needed.
- Contribute to Tech Development: Collaborate with the operations team and product managers to continuously improve our tech solutions based on partner and client feedback.
Requirements
Who we’re looking for:
Someone who is hands on in operations, who embodies our operations by showing the example first.
- Proven Experience: Ideally 1-2 years in operations management, or business development, preferably in a fast-paced or start-up environment.
- Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Strong Communicator: Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Problem Solver: Comfortable handling complex situations and making decisions that impact multiple aspects of the business.
- Tech-Savvy: An understanding of tech development processes and a knack for collaborating with product teams to refine and enhance service offerings.
- Results-Driven: A strong track record of meeting and exceeding targets, with a hands-on approach to achieving business goals.
