KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
As the Growth Manager, your primary responsibility will be to lead the strategic 0-1 setup of a new business vertical, here’s an expanded breakdown of your key responsibilities:
Primary and Secondary Research, Strategy and Consumer Insights:
- Conduct comprehensive market analysis, both outside-in and inside-out, to identify opportunities and competitive advantages.
- Utilize insights to develop strategies that capitalize on market trends and position
Offering Launches and Service Delivery Experience:
- Collaborate with internal teams to continuously launch new SKUs and improve service quality and customer satisfaction.
- Focus on enhancing the overall delivery experience, measured through Net Promoter Score (NPS) and outcomes achieved.
P&L and Financial Prudence:
- Take ownership of the business unit’s P&L, monitoring financial performance and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Implement strategies to optimize topline, manage costs, and ensure financial sustainability and prudence.
Distribution and GTM – Student acquisition:
- Develop and implement strategies to expand distribution channels, including identifying new channels and optimizing existing ones.
- Extracting more leads from Organic Channels such as YT, SEO, Direct and other channels and building Paid Channels
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and scalability of distribution efforts
Growth Initiatives and Operations Excellence:
- Drive growth projects and operational efficiency and excellence across all business functions to streamline processes, improve efficiency metrics
- Implement best practices and leverage technology to enhance productivity, efficiency and effectiveness
Pricing of Products
- Maintain average selling price for products and ensure Contribution / Margin guardrails are in line with Plan
Product-Market Fit (PMF):
- Innovate and iterate on the existing business model or develop new ones to achieve product-market fit.
- Conduct market research and gather customer feedback through listening tools to refine product offerings, pricing and ensure alignment with market needs
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and internal teams.
IDEAL EXPERIENCE
Must Haves
Demonstrated success in research or growth roles
Proven ability to conceptualize new products based on product-market fit and consumer insights
Exposure to digital, performance, and have demonstrated acquisition channels mastery, with a solid understanding of go-to-market strategies
Experience in online distribution channels is preferred
Growth mindset, with a focus on continuous improvement and learning
Ability to conduct consumer insights and translate findings into actionable strategies
Strong aptitude and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret data effectively
Hold a degree from top-tier colleges and 2 plus years of post-qualification experience in the tech/internet sector
Good to Haves
While startup experience could be a plus, the candidate should have the experience of working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Experience in EdTech Industry especially K10 space
Familiarity with top-of-the-funnel go-to-market strategies, including YouTube, SEO, social media, B2B partnerships, and event-led initiatives
While not mandatory, experience in service delivery companies would be advantageous
