What You Will Do

  • Develop and lead the social strategy for the bank in line with marketing objectives.
  • Implementing long-term strategies while driving growth, engagement, and brand loyalty across social media channels
  • Produce and deliver quarterly and monthly social media content plan and social media campaigns to meet business and marketing objectives, create meaningful brand experiences on social channels and attract and retain customers
  • End to end campaign management across owned social channels including but not limited to Instagram, X, Meta, TikTok, X and YouTube for national and local campaigns from brief development, execution through to measurement
  • Ensuring creative is social first and bespoke for each channel, identifying the role per channel and developing the right creative, including user-generated content and employee- generated content
  • Work closely with marketing leads, digital marketing, events and PR to develop go-to-market plans and support local activity on social channels
  • Manage external agency partners and suppliers
  • Be a thought leader for social, identify current and future trends to ensure the social strategy stays fresh and up to date with the latest technologies, changes in competition and shifts in the media landscape to adapt brand presence as needed
  • Identify social insight into different stages of the customer journey and how to create content for each stage (awareness, engagement, conversion)
  • Social reporting, using reporting tools to measure social performance regularly

  • B2B social media management experience
  • Knowledge of implementing B2B social content, social first campaigns & ability to develop strategy
  • Ability to write compelling, brand-aligned captions, articles, and social posts
  • Graphic design basics, familiarity with tools like Canva, Adobe Photoshop, or Illustrator for creating engaging visuals
  • Video editing proficiency in video editing software (like Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or even mobile apps) to create short-form videos
  • Basic photography skills to capture brand-relevant images for social use
  • An understanding on how to research and analyse target audiences to tailor content and engagement approaches
  • Ability to use analytics tools (e.g. Google Analytics, native social platform analytics, and third-party tools) to measure and interpret performance metrics
  • Experience of interacting with followers, respond to comments/messages promptly, and foster a positive community
  • Skills in handling negative feedback or social media crises with professionalism
  • Strong organisational skills to work across multiple platforms, campaigns, and meet deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, accuracy and attention to detail
