What You’ll Be Doing…

As a Automation Engineer in Assisted Sales Team , you will be responsible for ensuring the Quality of the Product delivered , and Regression and Stability of the Overall Product . Also , be actively working on Production monitoring , Automation frameworks – to ensure every corner aspect is covered for all the releases. To track and effectively see for Closure of all the Test cases for each Sprint / Regression – in Qtest. Responsible to work with Multiple Fold Team / Cross Teams – To ensure any required Defect is created , and tracked for Closure.

  • Working With Sales Team – need to partner with Reps , Developers , SME and Architect on test activities of Deliverables.
  • Working on developing various Automation frameworks and setting up frameworks across Assisted channels.
  • Investigating customer problems referred by the technical support team.
  • Creating and managing bug reports and communicating with the team.
  • Building different test scenarios and acceptance tests and creating generic automation frameworks.
  • Setting up, maintain, and operate automation frameworks.
  • Improving the overall delivery excellence by working through project dynamics.

You stay focused and enjoy the challenge that comes with this role and are able to manage work effectively in a dynamic, Time-frame oriented environment.

You’ll Need To Have

  • Bachelor’s degree or one or more years of work experience.
  • Experience in software Application Testing Manual and Automation..
  • Knowledge/Experience of testing tools, automation frameworks, extending automation solutions using Java, Shell Scripts etc.
  • Knowledge of Databases/SQL, non relational Databases and tools like Jenkins, GIT etc.

Even better if you have one or more of the following:

  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience working in Agile/SAFe teams.
  • Strong experience with Regression /building Detailed reports for Production Support team.
  • Ability to adopt an automation first approach and execute the automation test strategies.
  • Knowledge of reusable component development.
  • Collaboration skills to manage the peers, partners and other stakeholders.
