PURPOSE OF THE JOB
To assist the Logistics Superintendent in all related logistical and sales admin functions
Job Responsibilities
SAFETY, HEALTH, ENVIRONMENT AND QUALITY
- Comply with SHEQ requirements (SHEQ Toolbox)
- Utilise the Information Management System (IMS) to initiate, investigate and report SHEQ status
CUSTOMERS
- Ensure customer satisfaction
BUSINESS PROCESSES
Raw Materials
- Schedule raw materials deliveries in line with plant requirements
- Compile and place orders and track raw materials receipts against orders
- Approve and verify raw material receipts, stock changes and test weights
- Approve and verify raw material dispatches
- Action discrepancies on MES, investigate and communicate all deviations
- Verify SAP/MES systems
- Reconcile receipts between transporters and suppliers and communicate to Finance department
- Maintain Raw Material Systems data integrity
- Administrative functions
Supplies
- Maintain stationary and office supply stock levels
- Maintain refreshment stock levels
Reports
- Conduct the BCS/BI administration
- Compile the Departmental Newsletter
- Compile general reports
