Job Summary
This role plays a pivotal role in assisting the execution of high-impact initiatives that contribute significantly to the organisation’s overall goals. This role will assist in project management, business acumen, and strategic thinking to spearhead complex projects from conception to completion.
Job Responsibilities
- Project Planning: Assists the team in developing project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Project Execution: Assists in execution of a project plan by coordinating project activities, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and involved in the project progress, and monitoring project performance against key performance indicators.
- Project Monitoring and Reporting: Tracks project progress, prepares status reports, and provides regular updates to the project team and management.
- Stakeholder Management: Establishes and maintains relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal team members.
- Quality Assurance: Ensures project deliverables meet the quality standards, and are completed on time and within budget.
- Administrative work: Including but not limited to ad-hocs engagements, correspondence, reporting and documentations.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain relationships with key government stakeholders through effective communication and engagement programs.
- Collaborate: With internal teams to ensure alignment of government engagement strategies and tactics.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
- A minimum of 4 years of professional work experience in Project Management and Stakeholder Engagement.
- Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project scope and budget, and balance priorities
- Proficient in written and verbal communication in Bahasa Melayu and English.
- Experience drafting high-quality correspondences and communications.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office applications and familiar with commonly used software tools, i.e. Zoom, Slack and Monday.com.
- Proficient in data analysis and leveraging data for strategic decisions.
- Ability to identify trends and assess project impact on organisational goals.
- Experience coordinating projects across multiple departments with different processes and priorities.
- Ability to balance expectations and requirements of various stakeholders, including working level and management.
