The Marketing Manager – Financial Services will be responsible for managing our large-scale acquisition campaigns for co-branded credit cards. This involves working closely with the Marketing Leadership team and Loyalty Commercial team to identify opportunities for growth, developing through-the-line campaigns that support both partner and commercial targets to drive new card acquisition.

This role will be responsible for the execution and delivery of the integrated partner campaigns, including creative development, project planning, media planning and stakeholder management. The ideal candidate will have an analytical mindset, managing the digital hero environment and associated web analytics, reporting and optimisations. Plus a keen interest and sound understanding in data and insights driven marketing, including targeting strategic cohorts across both owned and paid media.

You’ll Have

  • Tertiary qualifications in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years’ experience in critically reviewing marketing collateral to determine fit with brand and ensure they are commercially and legally sound.
  • Sound understanding and background within financial services or similar regulated industry preferred.
  • Ability to work at a fast pace while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Sound understanding of campaign reporting and analysis techniques.
  • Analytical mind set and exposure to working with website CMS management, data analytics, data segmentation and reporting highly beneficial
  • Demonstrated experience in dealing with internal commercial and product stakeholders, and external clients/agencies/partners.
  • Experience in using email build and delivery systems
  • Experience in dealing with Legal and in understanding and communicating legal and commercial constraints to partners.
  • Negotiation skills – balancing Loyalty objectives and the member proposition for successful outcomes.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively liaise with Qantas management, and senior executive levels of external partners.
