Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support to repair technicians, troubleshooting issues related to repair processes and equipment.
  • Collaborate with quality engineersto conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for any quality issues identified during the repair process.
  • Lead and manage projects related to process improvements, new repair techniques, and equipment upgrades.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are achieved on time.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation of repair processes, work instructions, and standard operating procedures in accordance to Engine Shop Manuals.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen events, to drive Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost matrices.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in repair technologies and methodologies.

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in manufacturing engineering, preferably with a focus on gas turbine engine components or combustor repair.
  • Strong knowledge of repair processes, materials, and equipment used in combustor repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
