Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for overseeing all financial operations, ensuring the company’s financial health, and driving sustainable growth. This role requires a dynamic leader who can provide strategic insight, manage financial risks, and enhance operational efficiency while fostering a culture of transparency and accountability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Strategic Leadership
- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement the company’s strategic vision and long-term financial goals.
- Provide financial insights to support decision-making, business planning, and growth initiatives.
- Identify and evaluate opportunities for mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, and investment.
2. Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling processes.
- Monitor financial performance, analyze variances, and recommend corrective actions.
- Provide timely and accurate financial reports to stakeholders, including board members and investors.
3. Risk Management and Compliance
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, financial laws, and industry standards.
- Implement and monitor robust internal controls to safeguard company assets.
- Oversee insurance, risk management, and legal matters related to financial operations.
4. Treasury and Capital Management
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and debt strategies to ensure liquidity and financial stability.
- Optimize the company’s capital structure and manage relationships with banks, investors, and other financial institutions.
- Oversee investment strategies to ensure optimal returns on assets.
5. Operational Efficiency
- Drive continuous improvement in financial processes, systems, and reporting.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to achieve high performance and engagement.
- Collaborate with other departments to improve financial outcomes and operational efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred).
- 10+ years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior executive role.
- Proven track record of strategic financial leadership in a dynamic, high-growth environment.
- Strong knowledge of financial management, risk management, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- High proficiency in financial software, ERP systems, and advanced financial modeling.
