Job Description
These positions will be filled from a diversified set of S&E skillsets to include software and computer engineering, computer science, electrical and electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, general engineering, mathematics, physics, and others. Educational requirements are for a bachelor’s degree or higher from an ABET accredited university. Communication skills are required both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge and technology areas helpful for candidates, and also gained within the team through training and experience, include electronic warfare concepts, RF engineering, electronics hardware design, software engineering, data sciences, artificial intelligence, machine learning, systems engineering, and associated commercial design and development tools.
Incumbents complete a wide range of possible tasking, to include model based systems engineering, threat weapon system study and analysis, system and software architecture development, software development, database design, system development, system and software evaluation, intelligence data sensor engineering, countermeasures development, Radio Frequency (RF) system design and measurement, and others. Responsibilities also include reviewing, writing and updating intermediate and final technical documents including system requirements and design specifications/documents, white papers, and engineering notes. The incumbent will participate in project related meetings (milestone reviews, status, design, etc.), and both host and conduct technical meetings and teleconferences. Responsibilities may be conducted both within government and prime contractor facilities.
