Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate effective communication with the operations team through regular gatherings to ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
- Oversee the onboarding and training processes for physicians and mid-level providers, including EMR training and adherence to client expectations.
- Establish and nurture robust relationships with physician staff to guarantee compliance with billing, coding, and regulatory requisites.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders at partnering Skilled Nursing Facilities to foster program growth and ensure positive outcomes.
- Coordinate the collection of documentation from EMRs to ensure timely submission to Skilled Nursing Facilities.
- Monitor and analyze program performance, tracking vital metrics such as volumes and referrals.
- Address any missing documentation or charges with providers, escalating issues to the Director of Clinical Operations as necessary.
- Assist in managing provider schedules across each Skilled Nursing Facility and facilitate smooth communication.
- Collaborate with diverse departments to uphold efficient operations.
- Support administrative functions related to data entry and compliance documentation.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field, or 7 years of relevant experience in clinical or administrative roles within skilled nursing or long-term care settings.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience.
- At least 1 year of customer service experience.
- Proficient in EHR/EMR systems and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint), with strong Excel skills and a typing speed of at least 40 wpm.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, with an ability to engage effectively with medical staff.
- Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail, particularly in data management and reporting.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of HIPAA and PHI regulations with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
- Familiarity with insurance payers, medical billing, and coding practices is advantageous.
- Reliable transportation for travel to meetings at healthcare facilities, with the ability to work remotely from a private workspace at home.
