Job Description
What You’ll Do
- Develop strategy for sourcing materials domestically and internationally for our monthly curriculum kits
- Identify new factories where necessary, establish relationships, vet options to secure supply
- Lead negotiations and manage purchase orders
- Develop inventory management systems for end-to-end supply chain visibility
- Work with Finance and Demand Planning to ensure proper supply to serve demand
- Solve critical issues with supply in collaboration with production, press teams, and curriculum development
Qualifications, Skills, & Abilities
- 5+ years experience with international and domestic sourcing
- Ability to develop and execute strategies to optimize supply
- Experience with supply planning analytics
- People management skills and experience building a team
- Familiarity with supply chain IT systems to consider for implementation
- Experience with children’s products, art supplies, publishing a plus
