Job Description
Key job responsibilities
You will oversee programs that drive key Shopbop objectives in the Buying and Planning space, writing plans, getting buy-in on approach, and overseeing delivery as work is completed by Shopbop technology teams. You will partner with buying leaders, software managers, user experience designers, data scientists, and engineer to launch new programs. You will use data and customer feedback to iteratively improve products and deliver more for customers. You will apply your technical background to help accelerate delivery and set realistic plans.
A day in the life
You start with email, and are happy to see a stakeholder is aligned with your proposal to change how science findings are used in the core replenishment tool, but see they have a few questions on how certainty is used – you make a note to discuss it in your next 1-1. You spend the morning writing the UAT plan for new in-market tool, making sure it’s ready well ahead of fashion week! In the afternoon you have a 1-1 with the data team who are making good progress on your requests and end the day reviewing progress on a tech mandate you oversee.
