Job Description

Bumble Bee Foods, a leader in the Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG) industry, is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented professional to serve as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. This pivotal role involves managing high-priority executive assistance tasks while ensuring seamless operational support to the CEO. The individual will be instrumental in organizing the CEO, facilitating communication, critical projects, and driving organizational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Executive Assistance to the CEO

  • Manage the CEO’s calendar, including scheduling meetings, travel arrangements, and coordinating event logistics.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications, handling confidential correspondence with discretion.
  • Prepare and distribute agendas, reports, presentations, and meeting minutes.
  • Track key deadlines and deliverables, ensuring the CEO’s priorities are met.
  • Organize and execute special projects or events assigned by the CEO.
  • Handle a variety of administrative functions, addressing situations that require judgment and discretion.
  • Advise internal and external stakeholders on the CEO’s views on major policies or issues.
  • Coordinate communications and meetings with high-ranking individuals, adapting to unique situations with professionalism.
  • Represent the CEO at meetings as needed and communicate their viewpoints effectively.
  • Ensure commitments made during meetings are tracked and implemented by the appropriate staff.
  • Review outgoing correspondence for alignment with organizational policies and the CEO’s perspective.

Support Sales Operations

  • Lead or support the planning of large team meetings and events.
  • Support and assist cross-functional teams with administrative support, as needed. Some examples of those support needs would include the following:
    • National sales meeting and other event support (e.g. FMI, etc.)
    • Syndigo content and sample support
    • Coupon and program set ups
    • Sample shipments, as needed

    Qualifications, Skills & Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in business administration or a related field.
    • 5+ years of experience in executive assistance or a related role, preferably within the CPG industry.
    • Demonstrated success in supporting C-suite executives and managing complex priorities.
    • Exceptional organizational and multitasking skills with a focus on prioritization.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
    • High level of discretion and professionalism in managing confidential matters.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and collaboration tools.
    • Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration and stakeholder engagement.

The compensation for this role includes base salary and eligibility for an annual bonus based on company performance. All incentive plans are subject to change.

    The pay range for this role is $85,000 – $100,000 annually.

    • Compensation will match the level of knowledge, education, skills, and experience applicable to the position.
