About the Role

In this role, you have the opportunity to:

  • Be a part of the team building the definitive financial services platform for the consumer community in India.
  • Be responsible for developing & growing one of the first successful implementations of lending based on velocity-led underwriting in this part of the world.
  • To straddle zero-to-one experiments and expanding the scope of proven projects as we focus on blitz scaling our revenue growth.

Responsibilities

Functional Expertise

  • Manage Collection Operation for the assigned Area / Agencies
  • Responsible for managing collection agencies to achieve assigned bucket targets
  • Responsible to review account allocations and collection targets by bucket to agencies/In-house team regularly.
  • Drive field team and vendors to deliver excellent collection efficiency.
  • Work towards achieving bucket resolutions as per assigned targets

Interaction

  • Time to Time feedback based on field operations for betterment of lending process.
  • Establish effective working relationships with functional and cross functional teams to implement innovative and competitive strategies related to field collection activities.

Problem solving

  • Ensuring legal guidelines are complied with for entire collection structure in letter and sprits.
  • Ensuring that the collection agencies and executives adhere to the legal guidelines provided by the law in force.
  • Ensuring adherence to the Code of Conduct and initiating regular audits of Collection agencies.
  • Continuously monitoring collection agencies and collection executives to identify fraudulent practices and ensure that no loss is incurred due to such activities.
  • Ensuring documented feedback and action taken on all cases.

To succeed in the role

Impact

  • Ensure extraction from lower DPD’s and keep the flows to higher buckets under control
  • Recovery from NPA Pool

Challenges & Decisions

  • Working in a highly fast-paced, challenging & competitive landscape.
  • Along with meeting collection targets, studying the portfolio and giving constructive feedback on how to improve the processes

Qualifications

  • Graduate or post-graduate
  • 5+ years of Tele calling / field collection experience.

Required Skills

  • In Depth Knowledge of Parameters to be tracked for field Collection agencies.
  • Good Analytical Skills.
  • Problem solving and decision-making skills
  • People Management skills

  • A curious mind and a mastery over understanding the product deeply
  • Strong execution capabilities and rigor – you are not afraid to get your hands dirty, are detail oriented and stay on top of things to ensure you deliver consistently
