PIH Health is seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented UM Customer Support Representative to join our Utilization Management team. This full-time, regular/at-will position is based at PHP and does not require travel. As a UM Customer Support Representative, you will be an integral part of a high-performance, customer-focused team environment. Your primary responsibility will be to provide exceptional customer service to our medical group members and providers. You will handle inquiries via telephone and/or emails, ensuring that all communications are addressed in a timely and accurate manner. PIH Health is a nonprofit, regional healthcare network that serves approximately 3 million residents in the Los Angeles County, Orange County, and San Gabriel Valley region. Our network includes multiple hospitals, outpatient medical office buildings, a multispecialty medical group, and a range of healthcare services. As a UM Customer Support Representative, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of our Utilization Management department. You will be expected to develop and maintain effective working relationships with all levels of management, staff, providers, and members. This role requires a candidate with a high attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and delegate effectively. The position is hourly, with no per diem. Required Experience

  • High School Graduate or equivalent certification

  • Experience in a managed care, IPA, or health plan environment a plus
