Our Wash Bay Team is currently looking for a talented General Worker for Barbados to clean vehicles in an efficient and timely manner.
Here’s What You’ll Be Doing
- Washes vehicle exterior, cleans interior and exterior windows, and wipes down doorjambs.
- Vacuums interior of vehicles to remove loose dirt and debris.
- Cleans upholstery, rugs, and other surfaces, using appropriate cleaning agents, applicators, and cleaning devices.
- Cleans engine and engine compartment with steam-cleaning equipment and various cleaning agents.
- Uses proper eye, hand, and body protection when using products that require protection.
- Applies dressing on tires and tire wells.
- Ensures service reminder stickers are displayed in the vehicle’s window.
- Keeps work area neat and clean.
- Operates all tools and equipment in a safe manner.
- Reports any safety issues immediately to management.
- Maintains a professional appearance.
- Performs other reasonable and related duties required by Service Management.
We’ll make a match if you meet the following requirements:
- Completion of Secondary School education with at least Mathematics and English
- 1+ year experience in automotive detailing or car cleaning preferred
- Light Goods Driver’s License an asset
- Ability to operate detailing equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums and buffers
- Familiarity with safety regulations related to handling cleaning agents and operating detailing equipment
- Detail oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
- Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete detailing tasks within established timeframes
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
