This is an anticipated vacancy.
This position is located in the Driving Records Unit of Driver Services, DMV Rocky Mount Campus. Responsibilities include reviewing and processing Driving Records requests received from the public including businesses, governmental agencies, attorneys, and substance abuse assessment agencies. Process daily deposits of checks and money orders. Generate correspondence to requestors to notify them of any issue completing requests. Positions utilize systems such as the State Automated Driver License System (SADLS). Â

 The program areas for this position includes customer service and experience analyzing and recommending policy and procedural guidelines.

- Experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and external customers.
- Experience with general office equipment such as a copier/scanner, fax machine, and mail opener.Â
- Experience with Microsoft Office applications and mainframe applications.Â
- Experience analyzing, interpreting, and applying policy and procedural guidelines.Â
- Experience in an office environment organizing and prioritizing work.

High school or General Educational Development (GED) diploma and one year of administrative experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Â
