Full Time RN – Intensive Care Unit

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) is a critical care unit in a hospital that provides care for patients with life-threatening or unstable medical conditions. ICU nurses are responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU, including monitoring their vital signs, administering medications, providing IV fluids, and providing respiratory support.

Responsibilities Of The ICU Nurse Include

  • Providing comprehensive nursing care to patients in the ICU
  • Monitoring patients’ vital signs
  • Administering medications
  • Providing IV fluids
  • Providing respiratory support
  • Coordinating care with other members of the healthcare team
  • Educating patients and their families about their condition and treatment plan

Qualifications For The ICU Nurse Position Include

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program
  • Alaska Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • National Provider BLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • National Provider ACLS – American Heart Association upon hire
  • 1 year Nursing experience
