This candidate will play a high impact role in re-building and optimizing our Supply Chain planning processes. We are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Planning Manager to oversee protein planning, slacking & deployment across our network. This role will be pivotal in optimizing supply chain processes, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining product quality throughout the supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, a strategic mindset, and a deep understanding of sourcing and distribution.

Things you will own as a Supply Chain Planning Manager:

  • Develop and implement strategies for effective protein allocation and deployment across our manufacturing network.
  • Collaborate with 3rd party warehouses and internal teams to forecast demand and manage inventory levels.
  • Oversee the thawing process, ensuring adherence to quality standards and timelines.
  • Coordinate with production teams to optimize schedules and minimize downtime.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Work closely with procurement, production, inventory, and logistics teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Establish strong relationships with external partners to enhance communication and collaboration.
  • Develop models and processes to review supply chain performance, including inventory levels, costs, and efficiencies on a weekly basis.
  • Develop replenishment plan for individual 3rd party warehouses.
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and strategic planning.

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 7+ years in supply chain management with focus on food manufacturing; experience with protein a plus.
  • Demonstrated success in managing the inventory of raw materials across numerous production sites.
  • Expert in excel modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management, production planning, and logistics.
  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tools (e.g., ERP systems), experience with implementation is a plus.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across teams.
