Anthos|Home is a groundbreaking startup dedicated to housing vulnerable New Yorkers. We’re seeking a passionate and experienced Operations Specialist to join our team and make a significant impact on the lives of those in need of stable housing.

The Role

The Operations Specialist will report to the Operations Supervisor and play a key role in ensuring a seamless move-in experience for participants. Key aspects of the job include managing administrative duties, maintaining accurate records and data, and coordinating logistics with vendors, internal team members, and external partners to ensure all move-in processes are completed on time and to the highest standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively while working collaboratively across teams to meet deadlines and deliver outstanding participant experiences.

Key Responsibilities

  • Liaise with external partners, including landlords and property managers, to finalize unit access and resolve logistical challenges
  • Coordinate logistics with tenant coordination, housing acquisition, vendors, including cleaning, maintenance, and utility services, to ensure timely move-ins
  • Ensure data integrity and accuracy in all tracking systems
  • Maintain confidential tenant and landlord files within our database
  • Order furnishings and supplies, schedule moving, maintain inventory database, and coordinate renter’s insurance policies
  • Collect and organize receipts for all Operations expenses
  • Demonstrate adaptability in supporting various departmental needs
  • Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree and/or 2+ years’ experience in an administrative position.
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Required Skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Excellent organizational and record-keeping skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
  • Discretion in handling confidential financial information
  • Familiarity with the NYC housing market and voucher system a plus
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Salesforce
  • Passion for the mission of the organization
  • Ability to work in a diverse environment.

Compensation And Benefits

  • Competitive Pay: $65,000 – $70,000 salary range (dependent on experience)
  • Hybrid work environment (3-5 days in office/field per week)
