Information Technology Administrator
Compensation: $25.00 – $30.00 per hour DOE
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Information Technology Administrator to join our team. The IT Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day management and maintenance of our company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and user support.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain all IT hardware and software, including servers, desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot operating systems, applications.
- Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and efficient manner.
- Monitor system performance and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime.
- Manage user accounts and access permissions.
- Contribute to IT-related projects and initiatives, supporting organizational goals.
- Create clear, concise, and user-friendly manuals, guides, and documentation for internal and external audiences.
- Stay informed on emerging technologies and industry best practices to enhance IT operations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in using help desk and ticketing systems with a focus on customer service.
- At least 2+ years in IT administration (flexible for the right candidate)
- Preferred Skills: Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (Azure, GCP), scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash, Python), cybersecurity tools (antivirus, vulnerability management), and VoIP technologies.
- AI experience or willingness to learn
- Relevant certifications, such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or Security+, are a plus.
