Job Summary
Kresge Hearing Research Institute is seeking a research associate with experience in setting electrophysiology lab (hardware and software programing), computer programing or/and bioinformatics.
Responsibilities*
- Maintaining computing systems associated with electrophysiology rigs
- Assistance for building pipeline for bioinformatics including mapping raw read to reference genome, extracting count data, statistical analysis, and visualizing big data
- Data storage, organizing, and maintenance in the system
- Editing Python, R, Linux, Matlab, Java scripts
- Developing AI in biological imagining analysis and electrophysiological data analysis
Required Qualifications*
Applicants with B.S. (or B.E.) and at least 2-year experience in computer programing and bioinformatics in the neurophysiology lab.
Desired Qualifications*
- 5 years working in a Research Laboratory.

Background Screening
