Reporting to the Head of EPD, the Chief Product Officer, the Vice President of IT will be responsible for shaping and executing the company’s IT strategy, ensuring that all systems, applications, security, and technologies align with business goals. This role involves overseeing the entire IT department, leading digital transformation initiatives, and implementing efficient scaling solutions. It is critical for driving operational excellence and empowering innovation for business success.

Key Responsibilities

– **IT Strategy & Leadership**: Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the company’s goals and growth plans.

– **Technology Infrastructure**: Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of scalable and secure infrastructure, including cloud systems, data storage, and networking solutions.

– **Team Development**: Build, mentor, and manage a high-performing IT team to support company operations and ensure smooth technological execution across departments.

– **Cybersecurity**: Establish and oversee a robust cybersecurity framework to protect company data, intellectual property, and customer information.

– **Digital Transformation**: Identify and lead initiatives for the implementation of new technologies, automating processes, and integrating systems to drive efficiency.

– **Collaboration & Stakeholder Management**: Work closely with other departments (product, engineering, finance, HR, etc.) to ensure IT supports their needs while enhancing collaboration and productivity.

– **Vendor Management**: Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure effective implementation and maintenance of tools, services, and software.

– **Budgeting & Cost Optimization**: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions that balance performance and scalability with fiscal responsibility.

– **Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity**: Design and implement disaster recovery and business continuity plans to mitigate potential risks to business operations.

– **Compliance & Governance**: Ensure IT policies, procedures, and systems comply with industry regulations, standards, and best practices.

Qualifications

– Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

– 10+ years of experience in IT leadership roles, with a proven track record in scaling technology in a startup or fast-growing company environment.

– Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and DevOps practices.

– Experience in cybersecurity, data privacy, and managing compliance with relevant regulations (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.).

– Excellent leadership, communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and influence at all levels.

– Experience in digital transformation and automation is highly desirable.

– Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make strategic decisions in a fast-paced environment.

$275,000 – $300,000
