Job Description
The EWO Family Support role is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and experienced practitioner who is familiar with working within education or Children’s Social Care.
The ideal candidate must have experience in completing family assessments and put in place effective intervention measures. Good awareness of taking a systemic approach to working with families; educational risk factors that lead to exclusion or poor school attendance, and the statutory responsibilities of local authorities in responding to these.
Where case(s) proceed to Court, you will be required to carry out statutory investigations in relation to persistent non-attendance at school and prepare cases for prosecution either in the Magistrates or Family Court
