WHERE YOU FIT IN
Responsible for the front office retail contracts, post-deal execution, and quality check review process necessary to ensure the fulfillment of retail contracts and amendments flow downstream accurately for the review and consumption of other Internal Departments.
Reporting to the Contract Administration Manager, the role requires self-motivated, dedicated, and responsible individual with the ability to perform well under pressure.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Review and process all retail contracts and amendments that are executed by the customer and ensure deals are entered into the system of record accurately in a timely manner with required internal approvals.
- Develop an understanding of product/service offerings and retail power agreements.
- Ensure correct contract version is used and ensure that the contract language aligns with the type of deal and terms that were executed.
- Communicate, resolve, and provide guidance to other departments on missing information, missing approvals, issues with the retail contracts and/or data within the system of record.
- Utilize reports to locate accounts that have missing contract information and escalate to supervisor for resolution.
- Updating tracking systems to reflect the accurate data and sustain contractual data integrity.
- Maintain contracts, customer documents, and related record and directing documents for signature in a timely manner.
- Assist with special projects as needed, with the ability to work in a constantly evolving environment.

- Associates Degree or 1 – 2+ years of relevant experience in the Energy industry or administrating contracts.
- Works effectively in a team and with diverse personalities.
- Good communication skills, written and oral, for example ensuring sales and other teams are kept informed of any delays in executing contracts, or outlining the rationale behind a decision not being able to push a deal through or kicking back a contract.
- Analytical mindset, demonstrate ability to problem solve and create practical solutions to overcome problems and mitigate risks.
- Comfortable working in a target-driven and fast-changing environment, and able to respond to changing business needs.
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office programs including Word, Outlook and strong Excel skills
- Excellent organization and time management skills, with the ability to maintain a strict level of attention to detail
- Ability to work well within a team environment and demonstrate a vested interest in team goals and objectives
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to establish and maintain positive and effective working relationships.
- Self-motivated with the desire to consistently improve performance and gain further knowledge.
- Ability to meet deadlines, learn quickly, and demonstrate effective problem solving and follow-up skills.
