What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Perform research and analysis of healthcare claims, pharmacy data, and lab data
• Develop ad-hoc reports using SQL, SSRS, and other analytic tools
• Collect and document report requirements to ensure accurate report creation
• Analyze data sets for anomalies and trends, providing actionable insights
• Assist with special projects for internal departments and regulatory agencies

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Economics, Math, Computer Science, or equivalent experience
• 2-4 years of increasingly complex database and data management responsibilities
• Basic knowledge of SQL
• 2-4 years of experience in quantifying, measuring, and analyzing financial/performance management metrics
• Demonstrated experience in healthcare analytics

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• Preferred experience in Medical Economics and strong knowledge of performance indicators
• Ability to identify and investigate complex medical cost issues
• Experience with predictive modeling and healthcare analytics
• Familiarity with Excel, Visio, and Access
