A national equipment hire business is looking for a dependable Yard Hand to support its Tamworth, NSW site. This full-time, on-site role is ideal for someone who enjoys practical work in a safety-first environment and wants to be part of a team that supports construction, mining, infrastructure, and event projects across Australia.

- Hourly rate: $34 per hour plus penalty rates
- Immediate commencement available
- Location: Tamworth / West Tamworth, New South Wales

What the role involves
- Cleaning, maintaining, and keeping hire equipment neatly arranged
- Carrying out simple checks on machinery and tools before they go out and when they come back
- Safely loading and unloading items from vehicles and around the yard
- Making sure the yard remains tidy, safe, and aligned with company procedures
- Helping workshop personnel and drivers whenever needed
What you need
- Experience in labouring, yard work, or equipment hire is preferred, though not mandatory
- A current driver licence
- A forklift licence
- A strong focus on safety and the ability to work well with others
- A fit, dependable attitude and a positive approach to hands-on work
