Opportunity
This position is in a busy warehouse setting where products need to be readied for dispatch with careful stickering and handling. The employer will provide full training, so this suits someone seeking reliable, ongoing work over the long term.
Role details
Location: Golden Cockerel Distribution (Morningside)
Employment type: Casual / long-term opportunity
Shift pattern: Shift times will change, so flexibility is needed
Key duties
- Apply stickers accurately and prepare items for dispatch
- Work in a chilled storage or production environment
- Move products manually, including lifting loads of up to 12 kg
- Use an electronic pallet jack, which would be an advantage
- Operate RF scanners, which would be an advantage
- Keep the work area clean, organised, and safe
- Assist the broader warehouse and dispatch team as needed
What the employer is looking for
- Prior experience in warehouse or production work is preferred
- Careful attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures correctly
- Confidence working in a busy, fast-moving environment
- Good physical fitness for repeated lifting of up to 12 kg
