About the Role

Rainbow Tourism Group is seeking a dedicated Waiter to join the team at New Ambassador Hotel in Harare. This permanent, full-time position reports to the Restaurant Supervisor and is crucial for delivering excellent guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately record guest orders.
• Prepare tables with appropriate linen, silverware, and glassware.
• Proactively upsell additional menu items and beverages when suitable.
• Serve food and drinks to guests efficiently.
• Manage the delivery of checks and process bill payments.
• Provide outstanding customer service throughout the guest's dining experience.

Job Specifications

• Minimum of 5 O' Level passes.
• A National Certificate in Food and Beverage Services or a comparable qualification is advantageous.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role is required.
• Must possess strong planning and customer care abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Requires a keen attention to detail, honesty, and the capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
