About the Role
Confidence Petroleum India Ltd. is hiring a Transport Coordinator / Sr. Transport Coordinator (Fleet Dispatch Officer) for its Fleet Operations team in Nagpur. This position is suited for an organized, proactive professional who can oversee daily fleet movement, improve vehicle usage, and support smooth passenger service through strong operational control.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage everyday fleet dispatching and assign vehicles as required.
- Track vehicle movement, trip timings, and driver allocations.
- Work toward better fleet utilization and stronger operational output.
- Keep accurate records of vehicle deployment, trip logs, and daily operational updates.
- Coordinate regularly with drivers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Prepare routes and schedules to ensure services run on time.
- Oversee vehicle servicing and maintenance timelines.
- Resolve operational disruptions, delays, breakdowns, and escalation cases.
- Ensure transport activity follows safety rules and regulatory requirements.
- Create daily, weekly, and monthly reports on fleet performance.
Candidate Profile
The company is seeking a graduate candidate with 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in fleet operations, transport coordination, dispatch, or logistics. The role requires solid understanding of vehicle dispatching, route planning, and fleet handling, along with good communication and coordination abilities. Strong working knowledge of MS Excel and fleet management software is also expected.
Preferred Experience
- Exposure to passenger transport or commercial fleet operations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking systems and fleet monitoring platforms is preferred.
- Ability to work with data, prepare reports, and analyze operations.
- Experience in coordinating teams and managing vendors is beneficial.
