Team Lead - PMO

About the Role

Clariness is seeking a Team Lead - PMO (f/m/d) to be based in Berlin, Hamburg, or London. This is a full-time, permanent position. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the successful completion of projects while providing leadership and support to a team of Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Collaborating closely with the VP of Project Management, you will drive operational excellence, foster teamwork, and maintain consistent project delivery standards within your designated POD.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support Project Managers and Project Coordinators within your assigned POD.
• Monitor team workload, project execution performance, and resource allocation to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Facilitate the professional growth and performance management of team members through consistent feedback and coaching.
• Ensure adherence to PMO standards, processes, and best practices across all projects.
• Partner with the VP of Project Management to align on strategic priorities, operational methods, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for enhancing project management processes, boosting efficiency, and improving cross-functional collaboration.
• Contribute actively to project delivery, offering support to key projects and stakeholders as required.
• Cultivate a collaborative, engaged, and high-performing team atmosphere.

Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management, project delivery, or a comparable leadership capacity.
• Prior experience in leading, mentoring, or developing Project Managers and/or Project Coordinators.
• A solid grasp of project management methodologies, processes, and best practices for project execution.
• Demonstrated ability to manage resources, prioritize tasks, and support teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in driving process enhancements and promoting cross-functional collaboration.
• Exceptional communication, stakeholder management, and interpersonal abilities.
• Previous experience in healthcare, clinical research, clinical operations, or digital project settings is highly advantageous.
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
