Role overview
This role is focused on managing key franchise relationships and supporting the growth of existing accounts. The Strategic Account Manager serves as the main link between the company and its partners, ensuring smooth communication, resolving concerns, and identifying opportunities to improve performance and business outcomes. The position is based in Bengaluru and is a full-time, on-site opportunity.
Key responsibilities
- Build and sustain strong working relationships with franchise partners, keeping communication prompt and handling issues or conflicts effectively.
- Work closely with partners to support revenue expansion, higher membership sales, and stronger customer retention.
- Monitor important performance indicators such as sales, revenue growth, customer satisfaction, and partner engagement.
- Offer continuing guidance, support, and resources so franchise partners can operate successfully.
- Oversee franchise agreements, ensure contract compliance, support renewal discussions, and help resolve disputes.
- Collect market insights, competitor information, and customer feedback to guide business decisions and growth plans.
- Prepare periodic reports and present findings to senior leadership on partner performance, market trends, and commercial opportunities.
Qualifications and skills
The role calls for a candidate with a strong background in account handling, sales, or business development, ideally gained in the fitness or hospitality sector. A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred. The person should be confident in communication, relationship management, and problem-solving, while also being able to work independently, manage priorities, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders. Strong proficiency in data analysis, reporting, and presentation tools is important, along with fluency in English and local languages such as Kannada and Hindi.
