Role Overview
This position is for an experienced network engineer to support enterprise-scale infrastructure and handle complex operational issues in a Bengaluru-based setting. The role calls for strong hands-on capability across switching, wireless, network automation, access control, and perimeter security, along with the ability to collaborate effectively during high-priority incidents.
Technical Capabilities
- Practical experience with Cisco switching platforms, including Catalyst 9000 series or comparable enterprise models.
- Working knowledge of Cisco wireless environments, covering wireless controllers and access points.
- Exposure to Cisco DNA Center for assurance, automation, and compliance workflows.
- Understanding of Cisco ISE for network access control, authentication, authorization, and guest access management.
- Familiarity with firewall platforms such as Cisco Firepower or ASA, or similar enterprise-grade security appliances.
- Solid grasp of TCP/IP, VLANs, spanning tree, and core routing concepts such as OSPF and BGP fundamentals.
Professional Qualifications
- CCNP Enterprise or CCNP Security certification is preferred.
- Additional certification in Cisco ISE or Cisco Wireless specialization is considered an advantage.

- Strong capability to analyze issues and arrive at effective solutions quickly.
- Comfortable working under pressure during critical incidents that affect business operations.
- Able to communicate clearly with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
- Demonstrates ownership, accuracy, and attention to detail in daily work.
- Open to mentoring and guiding junior engineers when needed.
