We are seeking a skilled Software Development Engineer in Test to strengthen our quality engineering efforts. This role suits someone with a solid foundation in both development and testing, along with strong analytical thinking and a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Key responsibilities
- Create and implement automated test cases for sophisticated software products and systems.
- Work closely with developers to understand, refine, and rank testing needs.
- Build, improve, and support test automation frameworks and related tools.
- Review test outcomes, identify issues, and communicate defects to the engineering team.
- Take part in agile delivery practices and partner with the product owner to help shape acceptance criteria.
- Maintain strong delivery quality by adhering to coding standards and industry best practices.
Skills and tools
The role calls for automation testing capability, Python, REST API testing, SQL, and an understanding of CI/CD practices.
