Role overview

This position is for an SAP Super User based in Lagos, Nigeria. The role sits within Operations, Supply Chain, or Finance depending on the business need, and reports to the Department Head or IT Manager. The salary is negotiable. The selected candidate will act as the main SAP contact for the organization, helping teams use the system correctly, resolving day-to-day issues, and supporting improvements in SAP processes and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the first line of support for SAP users across the relevant departments.
• Investigate and help fix SAP-related technical or operational issues.
• Check data quality and ensure SAP use follows established procedures and controls.
• Guide employees on SAP workflows, usage standards, and practical best practices.
• Support SAP rollouts, system upgrades, testing activities, and process enhancement efforts.
• Serve as the link between business teams and IT for requirements, fixes, and system improvements.
• Prepare SAP reports and review the data to help with business decisions.
• Keep clear records of SAP workflows, user manuals, and process documentation.
• Respond to user questions promptly and ensure concerns are closed in a timely manner.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, or a similar discipline is required.
• At least 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience working with SAP ERP systems is needed.
• Good knowledge of SAP modules connected to business operations, such as MM, SD, PP, WM, and FICO, is expected.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability are important for this role.
• The candidate should be able to communicate clearly and train users effectively.
• Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, is necessary.
• Ability to collaborate well with different departments is essential.
• Experience in manufacturing, FMCG, logistics, or a similar industry will be an advantage.
• Understanding of business process improvement and ERP optimization is required.
