Role overview
We are hiring an accomplished SAP Commerce Cloud Release Manager to own the full release process for a large-scale e-commerce solution. The position focuses on delivering dependable deployments while partnering with both technical specialists and business stakeholders.
Core responsibilities
- Take charge of the release journey from initial planning through to post-launch support.
- Create and maintain release schedules that clearly outline milestones, risks, and required resources.
- Work in close coordination with development teams, QA, and key stakeholders to support high-quality releases.
- Manage deployment execution, cutover steps, and rollback planning where needed.
- Track the platform after each release and address issues that surface after go-live.
- Keep release records up to date and promote consistent release-management practices.
Experience and technical background
The role calls for 6 to 8 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates should bring hands-on exposure to SAP Commerce Cloud (Hybris) release management, a solid grasp of release workflows and cloud-based deployments, and familiarity with change management and version control systems. Strong communication and troubleshooting ability are important. Exposure to DevOps practices and cloud security will be considered an added advantage.
