Role overview
A financial services corporation is seeking a Recruiter to support hiring activities for its New York City office. This is a six-month contract role with a chance of extension. The position follows a hybrid schedule with three onsite days each week near Vesey Street.
What you will do
In this role, you will oversee recruiting from start to finish, working closely with hiring leaders to create a positive experience for both candidates and internal stakeholders. Your work will include sourcing talent, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and presenting offers. You will also coordinate with recruiting coordinators and onboarding partners to keep the process moving smoothly.
Contract details
Length: 6 months, with potential for extension.
Work model: Hybrid, with 3 days onsite.
Pay rate: $45–$48 per hour on a W2 basis.
Responsibilities
- Run end-to-end recruiting activities, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and managing offers.
- Work directly with hiring managers to clarify staffing needs and provide recruiting advice.
- Support a positive candidate journey from first contact through onboarding.
- Coordinate with recruiting coordinators and onboarding teams to help ensure an efficient hiring process.
- Use ATS and CRM platforms to monitor candidate progress and keep records up to date.
- Assist with onsite hiring events and recruitment initiatives at the New York City office when needed.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of recruiting experience, ideally in a corporate environment.
- Experience in financial services, banking, payments, fintech, or similar sectors is preferred.
- Hands-on familiarity with ATS and CRM tools such as Workday, Taleo, EightFold, Bullhorn, or SuccessFactors.
- Oracle Recruitment Cloud experience is considered an advantage.
- Strong written and verbal communication, organizational ability, and stakeholder management skills.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-based setting.
