Operations Consultant - Flex

Role Overview

This role supports store operations by working closely with the Operations Supervisor to keep the stockroom orderly and merchandise updates running smoothly. The position is based at AB-Currents of Windermere (1678), 5236 Windermere Blvd., Edmonton, AB T6W 0L9, Canada.

Client Service

• Deliver courteous, professional, and informed help to customers as needed during store hours.
• Support training for other cashiers and consultants on POS and MPOS systems.

Store Presentation

• Help keep the cashier area clean, orderly, and well maintained.
• Support Sephora merchandising standards and in-store presentation concepts.
• Take part in activities designed to reduce shortage and loss.

Merchandising and Operations

• Receive shipments and process incoming goods promptly.
• Maintain the stockroom in line with company standards.
• Handle transfers, damages, and testers according to procedures.
• Inspect visual merchandising materials and report missing or damaged items to the Operations Supervisor.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness standards at all times.
• Escalate inventory concerns to supervisors, assistant managers, or the store manager.
• Follow sampling policies and procedures.
• Support inventory control activities.
• Selected consultants will also be trained in cashier duties.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate brings 1 to 2 years of experience in retail or client service, preferably in a stockroom setting. Strong computer, math, and organizational abilities are needed, along with the capacity to juggle multiple priorities while staying responsive to customer and business needs. Good time management, communication, and problem-solving skills are also important. A high school diploma or equivalent is required. Availability must be flexible, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Physical Requirements

• Work in an environment with fragrance present.
• Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Bend and stretch while stocking shelves.

Compensation and Rewards

Pay is CAD 17.00 to CAD 20.00 per hour. Depending on eligibility, the role may also include performance-based bonuses, a strong benefits package, and learning and development programs focused on support and recognition.
