About the role
Stella Stays is a rapidly expanding hospitality and real estate business managing a range of homes in Dubai, including apartment buildings, villas, and penthouses. The company is hiring versatile maintenance technicians in the UAE to support the upkeep of its properties.
As a repair and maintenance technician, you will handle a broad mix of tasks to keep properties functioning well and maintained to a high standard.
Key work areas
- Plumbing repairs and related work
- Air conditioning servicing and repair
- Civil maintenance such as plastering, painting, tiling, and carpentry
- Electrical maintenance tasks
- Pool cleaning and servicing
- Gardening and landscaping support
Responsibilities and expectations
- Respond to maintenance tickets and close them effectively
- Diagnose issues and apply practical solutions
- Carry out inspections and preventive maintenance on property systems and components
- Handle pool cleaning, pool servicing, and garden cleaning when allocated
- Complete planned maintenance work for new property launches, refurbishments, and client projects
- Share work updates and completion feedback with the department lead
- Assist the department lead and project managers with schedules and material planning when required
- Provide on-site operational and logistical support when needed
Requirements
- Willingness to learn, adapt, and broaden technical capabilities
- Background in residential maintenance with a working understanding of plumbing, electrical systems, mechanical systems, HVAC, pools, and civil works
- Strong reliability, initiative, and problem-solving ability
- Comfort using tools and equipment correctly
- Basic understanding of maintenance procedures and workflows
- UAE driving licence is an advantage
- Ability to speak and write in English is an advantage
- Middle education preferred
- At least 2 years of UAE experience preferred
- Valid UAE driving licence is required
