Role Overview
The Media Planning Coordinator supports the creation and execution of digital media plans for life sciences brands seeking to connect with healthcare audiences. This role works alongside planning, media operations, and analytics teams to help deliver accurate, organized campaigns across channels. It is a strong fit for someone at the beginning of a media career who enjoys detail-oriented work and wants to learn how media planning operates in a regulated, data-led setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with building media plans by gathering research, audience insights, and channel suggestions across search, display, video, email, and mobile.
- Maintain planning materials, budgets, and media flowcharts using Excel and internal planning tools.
- Partner with Media Operations to help with campaign setup, trafficking, and pacing across buying platforms.
- Support reporting by extracting data and helping prepare performance summaries with analytics collaborators.
- Work with planning specialists and managers to ensure plans reflect client goals, timelines, and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Basic understanding of digital media planning gained through coursework, internships, or up to 1 year of relevant experience in media, marketing, advertising, or analytics.
- Practical spreadsheet experience in Excel or Google Sheets for handling data, budgets, or reports with strong accuracy.
- Proven attention to detail from academic, internship, or work tasks involving tracking, reporting, or quality review.
- Experience collaborating with different stakeholders or teams on shared deliverables, such as group projects, client assignments, or cross-functional work.
- Ability to document work clearly and follow defined procedures in structured or regulated environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Interest in and comfort using AI as part of day-to-day work.
- Exposure to media platforms, ad servers, or analytics tools such as Google Analytics, search platforms, or DSPs through study or practical experience.
- Awareness of healthcare, life sciences, or other regulated industries through education or previous work.
- Experience assisting with campaign reporting, billing, or reconciliation.
- Interest in developing a long-term career in media planning, strategy, or analytics within an agency setting.
Additional Information
This is a current opening at Klick. The starting salary range for this role is CAD 46,500 to CAD 60,000 per year. The final offer will depend on factors such as work location, skills, education, and previous experience.
