Manager, Operations (1-year contract)

About the role

RHB Asset Management Singapore is hiring a versatile and meticulous Manager, Operations for its Fund Management Operations team. This is a 1-year contract position focused on running fund operations end to end, maintaining regulatory standards, and helping deliver business initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee operational workflows such as transfer agency, trade support, settlements, reconciliations, and corporate actions.
• Examine NAV calculations and provide audit support for Unit Trusts and Private Equity Funds.
• Coordinate the launch of new funds and the establishment of investment vehicles.
• Carry out AML/CFT and KYC checks for onboarding activities.
• Assist with FATCA and CRS compliance processes.
• Serve as BCP Coordinator and provide support across functions as needed.
• Help with middle office coverage and other ad hoc strategic assignments.

Requirements

• 5 to 7 years of experience in asset management is required.
• Hands-on experience working with custodians, brokers, and administrators is preferred.
• Strong understanding of one or more Financial Markets product areas or business types, such as Fixed Income, Equities, or Treasury, is needed.
• Exposure to MAS regulations and Singapore compliance practices will be an advantage.
• Ability to communicate confidently with senior leadership is important.
• Strong capability in drafting procedures and designing documentation is expected.
