Manager - Audit

Role overview

EY is seeking a Manager for its Audit practice in the KSA office in Riyadh. The position is focused on leading complex audit assignments, supporting business expansion, and helping deliver consistently high standards of client service. You will be expected to build strong working relationships with both internal teams and external stakeholders, spot and escalate risks early, and contribute to a supportive learning environment by guiding junior colleagues.

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will steer the delivery of audit engagements by shaping the audit approach together with Senior Managers, Associate Partners, or Partners, and then carrying it out in line with Ernst & Young policies and procedures. Where needed, you may personally perform complex audit work and lead whole engagement teams or sub-teams, depending on the assignment size. You will also support the financial management of engagements by arranging staffing, monitoring fees, raising concerns with project leaders, and taking part in business development activities.

Qualifications and experience

You should bring at least seven years of professional external audit experience, together with a strong academic background and a recognized accounting qualification such as ACCA, CPA, or CA. Prior experience with a Big 4 accounting firm is also required.

Preferred background

Additional advantages include exposure to a risk-based audit methodology, experience in coaching, mentoring, or counselling others, prior work in the Middle East and North Africa region, and fluency in Arabic.
