Role overview

The Machinist role at Aptiv involves running machines and producing tooling components according to specified drawing measurements. The position calls for practical shop-floor expertise, accuracy in fabrication, and the ability to maintain consistent output while working to technical requirements.

Core responsibilities

• Operate machine tools to manufacture tooling parts that match the dimensions shown in engineering drawings.
• Interpret technical drawings correctly and translate them into accurate machining work.
• Work with machining tools while applying suitable cutting speeds and feed settings.
• Carry out basic machine upkeep and handle simple troubleshooting when issues arise.

Required experience and qualification

Candidates should have at least 4 years of relevant experience. The preferred educational background is ITI or Diploma.
