About the Opportunity
Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture (DEJV) is a specialist partnership delivering Defence infrastructure projects, with a proven history of completing major works at HMAS Stirling in Western Australia. The venture is now contributing to important infrastructure delivery tied to AUKUS, offering a significant chance to support the future of Australia’s Defence capability.
Role Overview
Ertech is seeking an experienced Labourer to support long-term, large-scale infrastructure construction activities in Rockingham under the DEJV arrangement. The successful candidate will carry out general site labouring duties and may also assist with machine operation when required. The position is employed by Ertech and seconded to the Duratec-Ertech Joint Venture.
Key Duties
- Carry out general labouring tasks on site.
- Provide support to machine operators when operational assistance is needed.
- Escort vehicles safely to and from the worksite.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Current HR driver’s licence.
- Experience with at least two of the following plant types is preferred: skid steer loader, roller, telehandler, water cart, or excavator.
- Ability to obtain and keep an active security clearance, which is essential.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a current National Police Clearance, which is essential.
- Previous Australian Defence-related experience is highly regarded.
