Role Overview

As a Java Engineer, you will contribute to building and supporting Java applications and systems, working closely with other teams to deliver reliable features and maintain high software quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, improve, and support applications and systems developed in Java.
• Work with cross-functional teams to define requirements, design solutions, and release new functionality.
• Keep applications fast, stable, and responsive.
• Investigate performance issues, remove bottlenecks, and resolve defects.
• Support strong code organization, maintainability, and automation practices.
• Take part in code reviews and share constructive feedback with teammates.
• Track current industry developments and tools to keep solutions competitive.

Required Background

• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Prior experience working as a Java Developer or in a comparable role.
• Solid knowledge of object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Hands-on exposure to Java frameworks such as Spring or Hibernate.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and web service integration.
• Working knowledge of databases and SQL.
• Strong analytical ability and careful attention to detail.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team.
