ITI Instrument Technician

Role Overview

We are seeking an ITI Instrument Technician for an onsite role in Ankleshwar, Gujarat. The position is centered on keeping industrial instruments and control systems running accurately, safely, and reliably.

Core Duties

• Carry out scheduled and preventive servicing for industrial instruments and automation/control equipment.
• Measure and adjust instruments with precision, following approved calibration methods and standards.
• Identify faults in instrumentation and control systems and fix them efficiently.
• Assist with PLC-driven systems, including diagnostic checks and programming-related updates.
• Maintain clear records of maintenance work, repair history, and equipment performance.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to help improve uptime, reliability, and overall system efficiency.

Requirements

Applicants should have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience. The role calls for hands-on exposure to PLC programming, troubleshooting, and system integration, along with a solid understanding of calibration methods and instrumentation standards. Knowledge of process control equipment and field devices such as pressure, temperature, and flow sensors is important. You should also be able to interpret technical drawings, P&IDs, and control schematics. Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills are essential. Certification in instrumentation or a related discipline such as ISA or CBT is considered an added advantage.
