Investment Analyst

About the Role

An investment management firm based in Singapore is seeking to recruit an Investment Analyst to enhance its team. This role involves in-depth research and analysis to support investment strategies and client relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough research on fund managers, including performing due diligence and providing strategic recommendations for fund selection.
• Assist in the construction and management of investment portfolios by proposing adjustments to asset allocation and implementing fund rebalancing techniques.
• Work closely with the broader investment team to develop valuable insights and formulate practical investment concepts.
• Provide consistent updates on portfolio performance and market trends to clients and distribution networks.
• Develop and maintain essential client-facing and reporting documents, such as presentations, fund fact sheets, and portfolio performance summaries, to facilitate client interactions and sales activities.

Requirements

• A minimum of three years of professional experience in investment analysis, supporting portfolio management, conducting fund research, or a similar capacity.
• Previous experience with mutual funds or fund-of-funds investment approaches is considered an advantage.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a closely related field is required. Candidates who are pursuing or have completed the CFA charter will be viewed favorably.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel are mandatory. Familiarity with VBA or other programming languages is a beneficial asset.
