Inventory Controller

Role Overview

This position focuses on maintaining tight control over inventory across raw materials, consumables, chemicals, and powders. The role is based in the United Arab Emirates and is a full-time, on-site opportunity with Vertiv.

What You Will Do

• Keep inventory logs accurate for raw materials, consumables, chemicals, and powders.
• Track stock movement and flag shortages, excess quantities, slow-moving stock, and obsolete items in a timely way.
• Maintain safety stock for fast-moving items and review these levels every day.
• Carry out monthly and periodic physical stock counts, cycle counts, and variance reconciliation.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO rules correctly and maintain proper bin-location discipline.
• Check and control all material movements, including receipt, issue, transfer, and dispatch.
• Make sure every inventory transaction is recorded correctly in the ERP system such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
• Look into inventory mismatches and assist with root-cause analysis and corrective action follow-up.
• Work closely with Stores, Production, Planning, Purchase, and Quality functions.
• Support both internal and external inventory audits.
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts that raise inventory accuracy and improve space usage.
• Follow safety requirements, 5S practices, and internal company procedures.

Skills and Knowledge

• Good understanding of inventory control and ISO documentation methods.
• Hands-on familiarity with ERP systems, especially SAP.
• Strong analytical ability and reconciliation skills.
• Working knowledge of manufacturing store operations.
