Human Data Operations Manager

Overview

This is a remote hourly contract role for a Human Data Manager focused on building and improving data operations. The position is designed for a new graduate and offers pay in the range of $40 to $55 per hour. The expected weekly commitment is between 10 and 40 hours.

What you'll do

• Build and oversee workflows for data annotation, data collection, processing, and analysis.
• Set key performance indicators and use them to improve efficiency and overall operational results.
• Work through datasets to uncover useful insights that can guide decisions.
• Partner with teams across the business to make sure data operations support broader goals.
• Create reporting systems that monitor metrics, quality, and workflow health.
• Improve processes continuously so the work can scale while staying accurate and consistent.
• Handle operational issues proactively and put practical fixes in place.

Requirements

• A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Data Analytics, Engineering, or a closely related field.
• Hands-on exposure to data analysis, annotation, or workflow improvement.
• Understanding of operational procedures and process improvement approaches.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear presentation of findings.
• Sharp analytical ability with careful attention to data quality and validation.
• Comfort working on your own in a fast-moving remote setting.
• Genuine interest in AI systems, human data operations, and performance optimization.
